This is a shrine, located in the midst of the city of Gujjar Khan, Pakistan. The shrine belongs to Baba Nazeer Muhammad who carried forward the Sufi Order , namely Qalandar-e-Doraan. He is known as waali-e-Gujjar Khan, which explains that he had taken forward the responsibility of looking after the people of his vicinity. This shrine was completed in 2005 which implies that the architecture is contemporary. It is Hexagonal with six doors to enter the main court.
The shrine is the details on the facade are worked out in Mosaic and the tesserae are very vibrant in colours. This Darbar is very well maintained. Every year disciples from all around the world come to pay respect, tribute and celebrate the Urs of their Spiritual guide.
The reason, why people follow these spiritual orders, is because they want to get closer to their Creator. Spiritual leaders like Baba Nazeer Muhammad are the source of inspiration and light who direct the people towards the right path. It is not just a piece of land that one can build a shrine on, it takes a lot of effort and by serving humanity that they gain that stature in a society where people come every day to make Dua for them. Some people also practice the belief of making Duas for themselves on visits to these shrines. this does not mean that they are asking the dead to bless them, rather they believe that the respect and the closeness of their guide can help their Dua be more effective and acceptable in the court of Allah (SWT).
